The month of May is Senior Citizen’s Month.  Our senior citizens are very important to us for many reasons and every now and again they need to be reminded of that.  The Cookie Jar Fund would like to challenge you to reach out to a senior citizen in your life.  Whether it be a family member, a resident in one of our facilities or even someone you meet in passing. Let them know how much they are appreciated by bringing them lunch, giving them a card or simply a smile and kind words.  Making their hearts smile is enough to brighten their day or even their week.  You would be surprised how far a little kindness will go!
