But what does this really mean? How do we listen?

Am I hungry? Or am I just bored?

Paying attention to what our body is telling us takes practice and patience. We must understand that it is impossible to eat perfect. Let’s just try to eat normal.

Stop eating when you are satisfied. Yes, it tastes good but stopping before being stuffed will make a big difference. Pay attention to how you feel after you eat. Do you feel energized, bloated or lazy? You can link certain foods and groups to how they make you feel. Everyone is unique!

Are you thirsty? Your body needs water. If you are at the point of thirsty, you are already in the beginning of dehydration.

You are what you eat. Your body will become more efficient, more energetic, and better looking, the more you pay attention to your body’s needs. Throw in more physical activity and it gets even better. Small, simple steps can help you achieve a healthier, happier, new you!
