Functional Pathways was pleased to host thirty clients from across Tennessee, Kentucky and Virginia on October 16th at the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce.  This group participated in Functional Pathways’ 2015 Client Education Summit, a daylong event designed to update leadership from long term care facilities on some of the latest developments in their industry.

The event included Martha Abercrombie, VP of Strategy, from Vikus Corporation, who spoke on the Do’s and Don’ts of Employee Discipline.  Participants also heard from Marcus Miller and Kellie Buchanan, VP’s of Operations and Client Retention respectively, who facilitated discussion highlighting strategies to drive strategic operations through client partnership.

The capstone of the day was a panel of industry experts moderated by Sheila Capitosti, VP of Clinical and Compliance Services for Functional Pathways.  Participants spent time discussing their experiences with bundled payments and the trends that they see on the horizon. Panel members included Bruce DiBernardo, Grace Healthcare; Denise McQuown-Hatter, Affinity Health Services; Candace McMullen, Homewood Retirement Communities; and Joel Van Eaton, Care Centers Management Consulting.
