After one of the roughest winters the U.S. has seen in a long time, Spring is here!
The excitement of warmer weather and pretty flowers blooming can trigger the brain to secrete endorphins, which are chemicals that give you a sense of well-being. The sun is out, providing us with Vitamin D, which increases blood flow, boosts our immune system, and prevents osteoporosis.
Spring Fever gives us a sudden increase in energy resulting in us being more active!
Tips for exercising outside:

- Go out in early morning or late evening. Avoid direct sun and heat.
- Go out in early morning to avoid the pollen.
- Drink lots of water.
- Resume exercise gradually to avoid injury.
- Wear protective clothing and sunblock.
